Meet Eddie

Eddie is the heart and soul of Amadife Salon and our resident black hair care expert. Eddie's work has been rocked in high places, making an appearance at the 2021 Bafta Cymru awards, where she styled Rakie Ayola.
Bafta winners aside, Eddie is the first choice for thousands of clients, not just within Cardiff but across the UK — with people travelling from as far as Manchester just for a single appointment.
It's not just Eddie's dedicated customers that prove her expertise. She even has the awards to back her up, being crowned winner of the Diverse Hair Salon Awards 2018.
When Eddie's not busy styling the lovely people of Wales, she's running workshops for colleges and schools. Eddie believes in educating the next generation of hairdressers on afro hair care. By teaching all hairdressers about Afro hair, we can sidestep many of the discriminations experienced by people of colour.
